Are these glasses dishwasher safe?

Our glassware is dishwasher and microwave safe. Please take extra caution to make sure that the glasses are not placed in an over-crowded dishwasher in order to avoid contact with other glasses. Treat as you would other glassware and stemware.

How durable are your glasses?

Our insulated glasses are made out of lab grade boroslicate glass as opposed to typical soda-lime glass. The tighter atomic structure of borosilicate glass makes it heat and scratch resistant. With the right care these glasses will last a long time. However, because the inside of the glass is "suspended" from the rim of the glass, care should be taken when adding ice.

What is the bump on the bottom of the glass? Is my glass defective?

Each glass is individually hand blown. Therefore there is naturally slight variation in the shape of each glass. The bump on the bottom of the glass is the mark of a hand-blown product. With traditional single-wall glassware, the glass is blown upside-down and the side that is blown from becomes the opening to the glass. The double walled nature of our glasses does not allow them to be cut and therefore the mark remains. Keep in mind that it requires much more skill and precision to create a piece of double walled glassware compared to traditional designs
